Hotel Lobby AI Apps Compared: Which One to Use (2026)
Every way to make the Hotel Lobby AI video, compared: Higgsfield, Summrs, Mitte, LightX, a CapCut template and a two-photo rap studio. What each does and costs.

The short answer
There are two kinds of Hotel Lobby AI tool. Swap tools (Summrs, Mitte, the CapCut template) put your face into the original Quavo and Takeoff clip with the original song. Studio tools make a new performance: a two-photo rap studio puts both of you on your own mics in a Hotel Lobby-style orange booth, rapping an original song written around your names, in about 3 minutes, paid per song with no subscription. Pick a swap for the exact original clip; pick a studio for a video that is really yours.
The Hotel Lobby trend took off in late September 2026, and a dozen apps now promise "the Hotel Lobby AI video". They don't all make the same thing. This page sorts them by what you actually get, so you can pick the right one in a minute.
Everything below about other tools comes from their own pages, checked on 3 October 2026. Plans and features change quickly; check each site before you pay.
The short answer:
- You want your face in the original clip, original song included: a swap tool, such as Summrs, Mitte or a CapCut template.
- You want two people, both rapping, in a video that is yours: a two-photo rap studio like Rap Duo AI.
- You already use Higgsfield and like prompting: its Genjutsu tool, see our Higgsfield guide.
Two kinds of Hotel Lobby AI tool
Swap tools take the original COLORS performance by Quavo and Takeoff and replace the two faces with yours. You get the famous clip and the real song, with you in it. The catch: it is still their performance and their song, and you can't change the words.
Studio tools don't reuse the original clip. They generate a new performance in a Hotel Lobby-style orange booth from your photos. The better ones write a new song for you, so the verses can be about your birthday, your best friend or your business, and both people get their own mic and their own lines.
Neither is wrong. They answer different searches: "put me in the Hotel Lobby video" versus "make us a Hotel Lobby rap".

The tools side by side

| Summrs | Swap | One | The original Hotel Lobby song | 50 free credits; plans from $15/month for 300 credits |
| Mitte Character Swap | Swap | Two (left and right spot) | The original recording | Needs its Creative plan |
| LightX | Hotel Lobby AI video generator | One or two portraits | Not stated on its page | Free to try; paid tier |

Each one in a sentence or two
Rap Duo AI. Add one photo of each person (or one photo of both). In about 3 minutes you get a vertical video of the two of you in a Hotel Lobby-style orange booth, each on your own hanging mic, trading verses of an original song with your names and details in it. It is a new performance, not the original clip. You pay per song, and pack credits never expire. Make one here.
Summrs. Its Hotel Lobby page asks for a single photo and puts that face into the COLORS performance with the original song. New accounts get 50 free credits, and templates start at 10 credits.
Mitte. "Hotel Lobby Character Swap" replaces Quavo and Takeoff with two people of your choice in a 30-second excerpt of the COLORS performance. The audio is the original recording. Its page says it needs the Creative plan.
LightX. A Hotel Lobby AI video generator that takes one or two portrait photos and places you in the orange stage with the hanging mic. It runs on the web and in its iOS and Android apps, with a free try and a paid tier.
CapCut template. Free, quick and familiar if you edit in CapCut, but templates appear and disappear, and they only work on the original clip. Our CapCut template guide shows where to find one.
Higgsfield. Many of the viral Hotel Lobby clips on LinkedIn and Instagram were made in Higgsfield's Genjutsu tool, by recreating a community video or by motion transfer from the original clip. It is powerful but general: you prepare the source and the prompt, and you pay through a credit subscription. See how it works.
Is there a free Hotel Lobby AI?
Yes, with limits. A CapCut template costs nothing but only swaps faces onto the original clip. Summrs gives new accounts 50 free credits, and LightX has a free try. The free routes mean either the original clip with your face on it, or a limited number of tries. A video where both people rap their own original verses takes real compute, which is why studios charge per song.

Do you need an app?
Not for Rap Duo AI: it runs entirely in the browser. Open the Hotel Lobby page on your phone, add the photos and download the finished MP4 to post on TikTok, Reels or Shorts.

How to choose in ten seconds
- Want the real song and the real clip? Use a swap tool.
- Want both people rapping lines about each other? Use a two-photo studio.
- Want full control and don't mind prompts and a subscription? Use Higgsfield.
- Just want to try the trend for free? Start with a CapCut template, then upgrade if you want more.
