What a CapCut template can and can't do
A template is a face swap on the original clip: your face goes onto Quavo's or Takeoff's body, over their real performance and their real song. That's great for a quick joke, but it has limits:
- Usually one face. Most templates swap one person. Getting you and a friend in means finding a template that supports two, and those are rarer.
- It's their performance, not yours. Same moves, same outfits, same lyrics. Your face is pasted on top.
- Templates disappear. They get removed or stop working, often right when a trend peaks.
- The original song. The clip keeps the copyrighted track, and videos using it can be muted or taken down on some platforms.
The other way: make it from two photos
