Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By creating an account or using Rap Duo AI (the "Service", at rapduo.ai), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service Is

You upload two face photos (one per person), pick a scene or vibe, and optionally enter a short topic for the lyrics. An AI video model then renders a short video (about 12 seconds) of the two people rapping together, with AI-generated rap vocals and beat. Rendering is performed by third-party AI providers accessed through an API aggregator; files are stored in cloud object storage.

We may add, change, or remove features, scenes, and providers at any time; where a change materially reduces the Service, we will give reasonable notice when practical.

3. Accounts

• You can sign in with email or Google. You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential. Activity under your account is your responsibility; tell us promptly about any unauthorized use.
• You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age required where you live) to use the Service.
• One person may not operate multiple accounts to claim the free first song more than once; we may block such attempts and close those accounts.

4. Photos and Likeness

This section matters most. By uploading a photo you confirm that:

• the photo shows you, or a person who has given you permission to use their likeness in this way;
• you will not upload photos of minors without their parent or guardian's consent;
• you will not use photos of public figures or celebrities to impersonate them;
• the resulting video will not be used to create or spread content that is sexual, hateful, harassing, or defamatory, or that is intended to deceive — for example, passing the video off as real footage of a real person saying things they never said.

You are responsible for how you share the videos you create. We may refuse to render, remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, without refund of used credits.

5. Credits and Payment

• The Service is paid for with credits, bought in one-time credit packs or received through subscriptions. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices may change; the price shown at checkout applies.
• What a video costs. Before each render you choose the model, resolution, length, and format, and the credit cost is shown before you start. A standard song (standard model, 720p, 12 seconds) costs 10 credits; a better model, a higher resolution, or a longer video costs more. Every format costs the same. Credit costs may change; the cost shown before you render applies.
• Credit packs (one-time): Single (10 credits, $9.99), Duo Pack (50 credits, $29), Party Pack (200 credits, $59), Crew Pack (500 credits, $99), Studio Pack (2,000 credits, $199). Pack credits never expire.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Monthly: Basic ($29.90/month, 100 credits per month), Pro ($49.90/month, 300 credits per month), Studio ($99.90/month, 800 credits per month). Yearly, billed once a year: Basic ($100/year, 400 credits), Pro ($500/year, 4,000 credits), Studio ($600/year, 6,000 credits); the whole year's credits are granted at the start of the billing year. By subscribing, you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your payment method at the start of each billing period until you cancel.
• Subscription credits are valid for the current billing period only: monthly credits expire at the end of that month's period, yearly credits at the end of the billing year. Unused subscription credits do not roll over.
• Pack credits and subscription credits share one balance; the credits that expire soonest are used first.
• Canceling: you can cancel any time from Settings → Billing. Canceling stops the next renewal; your plan stays active, with its credits, until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not give prorated refunds for partial periods, except as described in the Refund Policy.
• Credits cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, except as described in the Refund Policy.
• First song: watch before you pay. A signed-in user without credits may render one video for free and watch a short watermarked preview, provided the chosen settings cost no more than 10 credits (a standard song); unlocking the full HD, watermark-free, downloadable video costs that video's credits. This is limited to one per person, device, and IP address.
• Failed renders are never charged: if a render errors, is refused by a safety filter, or times out, any prepaid credits return to your balance automatically. A render that completes but that you don't like is not a failure.

6. Acceptable Use

In addition to Section 4, you agree not to use the Service to:

• create sexual content, or any content sexualizing a minor or anyone who appears to be a minor — absolutely and without exception;
• infringe copyright, trademark, publicity, or other rights of any party;
• create content that is illegal where you live or where we operate, promotes violence or self-harm, or constitutes harassment, hate, or fraud;
• probe, overload, scrape, or interfere with the Service or its providers, or circumvent safety filters, rate limits, or the free-first-song limit.

7. Your Content and Generated Videos

• Your uploads remain yours. You grant us a limited license to host and process them solely to operate the Service — sending them to AI rendering providers to render your videos. We do not use them to train our own models.
• Generated videos are AI-generated, including the lyrics, vocals, and beat. Subject to these Terms and to third-party rights (including the rights of the people depicted), we grant you a license to use your unlocked videos for personal and commercial purposes.
• AI models can produce similar outputs for different users; we cannot guarantee uniqueness, and you are responsible for verifying that your use does not infringe third-party rights.
• You can request deletion of your photos and videos at any time via a support ticket.

8. Availability

The Service is provided on a best-effort basis: we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, rendering speed, or that any given scene or provider remains offered.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time via a support ticket; if you have an active subscription, cancel it from Settings → Billing to stop future renewals. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, abuse the free first song, initiate fraudulent chargebacks, or create risk for the Service, other users, or people depicted in content. Sections 4, 6, 7, 10, and 11 survive termination.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim; we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date above (September 28, 2026) reflects the latest revision; material changes will be announced in the product. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
