Higgsfield Hotel Lobby: How It Works, and a Simpler Way

How people make the Hotel Lobby AI video on Higgsfield (Genjutsu recreate or motion transfer), what that involves, and how to make a two-person Hotel Lobby video from two photos instead.

Oct 1, 2026

A lot of the Hotel Lobby AI videos on TikTok, Reels and LinkedIn were made on Higgsfield, an AI video platform with many models and tools. If you searched for "Higgsfield Hotel Lobby", here's how creators say they do it, what that involves, and a simpler route if all you want is two people rapping in the orange booth.

Higgsfield changes its interface often. The steps below are what creators described in their own tutorials in late September 2026, not official Higgsfield instructions; check the app for the current version.

How people make the Hotel Lobby video on Higgsfield

Creator tutorials describe two ways, both inside Higgsfield's Genjutsu tool, which recasts a video with your own character:

1. Recreate a community template.

  1. Sign up for Higgsfield (some tutorials mention a paid Pro account).
  2. Open the Genjutsu tab and browse the community video library for a Hotel Lobby video.
  3. Click Recreate, remove the reference photos and upload your own.
  4. Keep the prompt that came with it and tap Generate. It takes a few minutes.

2. Motion transfer from the original clip.

  1. In Genjutsu, choose the Motion Transfer model.
  2. Upload the original Hotel Lobby performance as the video reference.
  3. Upload your photo and generate.

Either way, the result follows the original COLORS performance: the original moves, framing and timing, with your face recast into it. Higgsfield is credit-based; how many credits a video takes depends on the model and length, so check its pricing page before you start.

What that involves

Higgsfield is a powerful general-purpose tool, and if you want full control over the original clip it's a good choice. For the Hotel Lobby trend specifically, a few things trip people up:

  • Finding the right template or clip. Community templates come and go, and motion transfer needs you to get the original video first.
  • One face at a time. Many tutorials recast one person. Getting you and a friend into the booth takes more steps.
  • The original song. A recast of the original clip keeps Quavo and Takeoff's copyrighted track, and videos using it can be muted or taken down on some platforms.
  • An account and a plan before your first video.

The simpler way: two photos, one tap

If what you want is two real people in the orange booth, a photo-to-video maker built for exactly this is quicker:

  1. Add one photo of each person, or one photo of the two of you together. Clear, front-facing, good light.
  2. Write who it's for in one line: "Jake's 30th birthday", "best friends since 2nd grade", "our salon's grand opening". The rap is written around it.
  3. Tap once. Both of you appear in a Hotel Lobby-style orange booth, trading verses on an original song and beat, ready in about 3 minutes.

No template to hunt for, no reference clip, no prompt to write. It runs in the browser on iPhone, Android or desktop. The song is original, so there's no copyrighted track for platforms to flag. One song is $9.99, packs start at $29 for 5 songs, and a render that fails is never charged.

Before you post

  • Only use photos of people who agreed to be in it, and no celebrities or public figures.
  • Takeoff passed away in November 2022. Some fans have mixed feelings about the trend, so put yourselves in the video rather than impersonating the original artists. The story behind the song.
  • Post it vertical (9:16) for TikTok and Reels.
